Synopsis

"Picinisco is a small village in the province of Frosinone, located within the Comino Valley (lower Ciociaria). The town, which has about 1000 inhabitants, has always been characterized by its internal subdivision into small villages, often converted over the years into separate housing units, for a single extended family. As a result, the villages have taken on the name of the family that originally resided there over time; as in the case of the today uninhabited village of the Ciacca family, the subject of this story.
