The Sassi of Matera, from a peasant setting of misery to a location for major film productions. It is in this context that the comedy Sassiwood takes place. Among these contradictions, between past and present, between art and industry, between identity and globalization, between real development and illusions, the lives, at times grotesque, of the protagonists of the film develop. All linked to the world or the dream of cinema, all looking for something or for themselves. All marching, on the same day, towards their own destiny. In conclusion, the real redemption could be a return to poetry and humanity. The film is also a tribute to Albino Pierro, an important Lucanian poet, who was also a candidate for the Nobel Prize.

FRANCESCO PADRE ML990 | Short film
On the night between the 3rd and 4th of November 1994, the Molfetta fishing boat "Francesco Padre", with five men and a dog on board, sank taking their bodies down. Due to a peacetime war game the lives of five Apulian fishing families, on that dreadful night, was halted forever. The story was immediately defined as the "Ustica of Molfetta". The five men of the Francesco Padre "were declared" guilty of their death: that is, they would have blown up because they were carrying illegally explosive in war zones. And so the victims were turned into executioners and their families had to give up the right to bury their loved ones (deliberately left at the bottom of the sea); renounce the right to receive economic aid from the state (first recognized and then denied); to the right to know the truth (a state secret has formally prevented this) and therefore to the right to have justice. Twenty years of silence, omissions, investigations, state secrets, truth.
THE SIGNATURE | Short film
Betty is a fragile person who leads a flat and anonymous life; Giovanni, is also weak but wants to "cut" his life out of the same dull routine.
What was expected to be another uneventful evening for Betty as she heads home after another unfulfilled day at work, turns out to be quite the opposite. Betty sees she is being followed and starts to run for her life and as she seeks safety inside the elevator, Giovanni her stalker blocks the elevator door from closing. What happens next will change the course of their lives.
